APRIL - Plants herb garden for locals and Rin. Begins research studies in lab. Mining operations commence. Possibly breeding clegs? Maglor brings tack for clegs and new wardrobe for Edgar? Spire 10 officially completed? MAY - R&D/mining operations continue, develop locket-alternates for communication. Protect all plants in Spire 10 lands. Seeking buyers for blood granite. Saber retrieves mysterious artifact? May 2701 - Arrival

Wan made it to the outskirts of the town around the Tenth Spire a few days into May, coming along the roads that led into Caer Scima. He walked alone, though he had passed a small cart and donkey heading back the way he'd come just a couple hours before. They'd asked him about the state of the roads and general travel hazards he'd encountered on his way. None really, save for unstable ground he'd had to make his way around. Something they were already pretty aware of.

He greeted the townsfolk with a smile and asked if there was anyone he could speak to about staying for a time and helping out. He was fine sleeping outside the town, but if he was going to be around and didn't know for how long, he may as well help out. Of course with the town as small as it was and Wan being a shardbearer, he was directed to speak to the Baron of the Spire himself.

Wan did so, going right up to the gates of the spire and politely asking the guards if the Baron was available to speak with.

The latest reports had come in from the quarry, and Edgar was looking them over, making sure all was in order. Things were progressing well, but... the irony of the situation hadn't escaped him. Perhaps solutions were in order.

Going down toward the research facility, he paused at Hiro's door and knocked.

"...Hiro? It's Edgar. May we speak?"
