So, in case it wasn't obvious, Edgar is a fairy prince. That means he has magic, though (in general) he has not been properly trained in how to use it. That means most of his abilities are used on a subconscious/unintentional level, and he does not seem to be aware of their full extent. In his canon, he does at one point accidentally turn another character into a troll and seems to have unintentional manipulation abilities. Please note that his abilities appear to be innate and draw upon his own nature, rather than "tapping into" any external forces (mirror travel being the only possible exception to that).

Powers he may use include:

-Offensive Magic. We only see Edgar spellcast once in canon, which is an offensive ball of energy. He uses it only in the face of a direct threat, and is unlikely to use it except in defense of himself or another. Whether he has further attack magics is unclear, but this is his sole method of attack and defense aside from fisticuffs. It is presumed he lacks weapon skills.

-Creature Control. Edgar appears to have some sway over magical creatures. It is implied that he is the one to care for the unicorn in Lolotte's stables while it is there, since it would shy away from Lolotte and the goons. He is the one to send the dragonet that lures Rosella into Eldritch, and he seems to have no issue riding Necromancer the flying horse, even without the benefit of the magic flute required by Queen Valanice, one of the human protagonists, in KQ7. It is not clear if this extends to non-magical creatures as well.

-Mirror Travel. In the introduction of KQ7, Edgar uses a mirror portal to bring Princess Rosella to the Vulcanix Underground. While Rosella was brought to Tamir through the known-to-be magic mirror in Daventry courtesy of the fairy Genesta, it is unclear if the Underground mirror is also magical, or if Edgar is able to do this with any reflective surface (since the other end of the portal he uses for Rosella appears to be an average pond). The portal itself does not have a single endpoint, as Edgar reaches through the Underground mirror to snatch Rosella out of the interworldly tunnel and into his location, whereas her mother Valanice, who follows her, is spat out in the middle of a nearby desert, so it is unclear if Edgar created the portal, or is merely "tapping into" one that otherwise already exists. It is worth mentioning that, in pulling the human Rosella through the mirror in the Troll Kingdom, it had the clearly unintentional effect of transforming her into a troll as well. The precise cause of this transformation is unknown, but the blame is placed on Edgar.

-Charm/Glamour/Persuasion. This is largely an implied skill happening off camera, but Edgar does appear to have a curious knack for getting things he wants. It is he who convinces Lolotte to allow Rosella to prove herself--and Lolotte was ready to condemn Rosella to imprisonment and probably death without any real probable cause. His room in the castle is described as being "quite comfortable," even more so than Lolotte's own, and it's highly unlikely this happened simply out of any goodness of her heart because there is no goodness in her heart. When he proposes to Rosella the first time, having known her for less than a day and only spoken a few sentences total to her, she seriously considers agreeing to it, and only declines because she is on a tight schedule to save her father. In the Underground, as the false troll king, he seems to be doing a pretty decent job of keeping things running and pulling off the ruse, because no one notices except for Otar's old nursemaid. And let's not forget that even after openly admitting to his misdeeds, not only does he escape any consequences, he manages to get the girl and is even applauded by the guy who should be most upset with him. Indeed, Otar attacks Edgar when he finds him at the controls to the volcano, but then promptly forgets all about it when Edgar's real identity is revealed. This does not appear to be something he does with deliberate intent, however.

-Miscellaneous. Since Edgar is only marginally aware of what his powers can do, he may offer/attempt to do something he has never done before with his magic. This often leads to mixed results.
